The react-app-env.d.ts file contains type reference for react-scripts for TypeScript. ![]() Also related to React app will be react-app-env.d.ts. For the sake of this tutorial, we will add just the index.html. It is also here where you can add favicons for your app, manifest, robots, and other files. In this directory will be the main index.html. Related to the React app, you will also need “public” directory. These scripts are configured to look for “src” directory as place where the React app, the index.js or index.tsx, “lives”. The reason for this name is that we will use react-scripts to run and build the React app. This might not be the proper name for the front-end app. The React app will be in “src” directory. The config file for the DB, db.js, will be in root “server” directory. Specifically, the SQLite database itself, database.sqlite, will be inside “db” directory inside “server”. The files related to database will be also inside “server”. Files related to server will be in “server” directory. Project structureĪll parts of this project, the server, database and React app will be in one directory, a “bookshelf-app”. Now, let’s take a look at the structure of this project. In the last step, you will create a simple index.html file where you will render the bookshelf React app. When this is done, the app will fetch the API again to refresh the data, i.e. You will then send these data to express server and store them in the database. You will also use useState hook to store data about the book you want to add. Then, you will use useState hook to store the data you received from the server. Next, you use useEffect hook to automatically fetch express API, and database. You will create few small functional components. In the third step, you learn how to create simple React app, a bookshelf. You will create necessary API endpoints for our app and setup the server. ![]() In the second step, you will learn how to create API with express. In the first step, you will learn how to create SQLite database. This tutorial will consist of four steps. After that, you will build a React app, use axios to send requests to the server and use React hooks to store received data.Ĭode for this tutorial is available on GitHub. Next, you will create express server and connect it with the database. Note: the module must be installed before use. This tutorial will show you how to build your own app with React, Express and SQLite. SQLite's SQLCipher extension is also supported. The sqlite3 module also works with node-webkit if node-webkit contains a supported version of Node.js engine. It is also possible to make your own build of sqlite3 from its source instead of its npm package ( See below.). If your environment isn't supported, it'll use node-gyp to build SQLite but you will need to install a C++ compiler and linker. Support for other platforms and architectures may be added in the future if CI supports building on them. Until that is fixed, you will still need to install sqlite3 from source. The following targets are currently provided:įormat: napi-v. These binaries are hosted on GitHub Releases for sqlite3 versions above 5.0.2, and they are hosted on S3 otherwise. ![]() The module uses node-pre-gyp to download the prebuilt binary for your platform, if it exists. The prebuilt binaries should be supported on Node v10+. Check the Node-API version matrix to ensure your Node version supports one of these. sqlite3 currently builds for both Node-API v3 and v6. Sqlite3 v5+ was rewritten to use Node-API so prebuilt binaries do not need to be built for specific Node versions.

For John Groce, however, a stroll down the 2022 memory lane may illuminate a proven path back to the NCAA Tournament in 2024." Today, competitors adapt, players change and the game itself continuously evolves. "As a coach, it’s not always wise to look backwards and fixate on what worked in the past. However, there are some déjà vu vibes brewing with this 2024 rendition." Usually, it’s a stretch to draw parallels between teams two years apart. "The 2022 NCAA Tournament appearance is still fresh in the minds of Zip nation. Again, no other MAC players made the cut. They have Enrique Freeman as their #4 Mid-Major player to watch. They have the Zips #4 in their preseason mid-major top 25. I'm probably biased since they are very high on the Zips, but it seems like, somehow, they put in the homework on all 360+ D1 teams. The "Field of 68" puts out an incredible comprehensive preview almanac. Standing 6-9 and having just turned 19 years old in late January, Bates' tough shot-making prowess and overall scoring instincts hold some appeal, but he plays such a losing brand of basketball on both ends of the floor, making him a relatively tough sell. - Jonathan Givony This probably wasn't what NBA scouts or Bates envisioned when he elected to transfer from Memphis last spring, and he has work ahead of him now to be a sure-fire draft pick if he enters. Bates had some moments, dropping a combined 66 points against South Carolina and Michigan, but was more or less a net negative in conference play He posted a paltry 49% true shooting percentage with far more turnovers than assists and while being a sieve defensively, often looking like he was barely trying while playing selfish basketball. Then again many NBA 2nd round picks are wastes. You can mask those things in the regular season. Also, his style of play doesn't really preach giving 100% effort on defense every possession. Tod IMO has ridden his starters too hard over the years and just hasn't had the depth to keep players fresh. ![]() When you're asked to win 3 games in 3 days and your best player is north of 300lbs, that becomes a lot more challenging. We won the MAC regular season title by 3 full games. In a scenario where you only need to play 2 games a week and there are 3-4 days off between games, that Akron team was clearly the best in the MAC. Let's take that Big Dog and Cheatham team as a prime example. I think some just don't realize what it takes to win in January or February is different than what it takes to win in March. He just seems like a good regular season coach who just doesn't know how to win in March. ![]() One would think by dumb chance he would have at least lucked into one by now. The annexation of Austria by Germany, called the Anschluss, took place in 1938 after a number of years of intense public pressure and political posturing from within Austria as well as significant Nazi Germany influence. An effort to understand how Stangl would eventually arrive in Poland must begin with an examination of his life in Austria between 19. In spite of this, it was important for Sereny to separate her emotions, outrage, and disgust of the events, from her desire to obtain a clear view of Stangl’s motivations and justification for participating at that time (p. There are obvious moral difficulties in allowing any situation or external pressure to be used as sufficient justification for an individual to willingly participate in such a horrific genocide as the Holocaust. Throughout Into That Darkness, Gitta Sereny confronts Stangl’s work ethic, and justifications which eventually bring him face to face with his guilt, only days before his death. His justification: the perception that he would be punished for disobeying, and his self-imposed pressure to perform. What was Franz Stangl’s motivation? How could he justify such atrocities? Stangl’s motivation was not the complete genocide of the Jews, but that their murder was merely a task he was required to perform to the best of his ability. In interviewing Stangl, Sereny sought to understand not only why he participated, but what events, people, and conditions, surrounded Stangl which led him from a weavers shop in Austria to the gas chambers of Poland. As Sereny points out, the events of one’s life do not happen in a vacuum but are formed by the external elements which surround them (p. Questions will always remain about what brought about such horrific atrocities, and what prompted such seemingly normal people such as Stangl, to willingly participate. The Holocaust was a tragic reminder of the moral frailty of humanity when given the ideal opportunity to act out their innermost evil desires. Stangl’s roles at Treblinka and Sobibor make him one of the most deeply implicated figures of the Holocaust. As an extermination camp Kommandant, Stangl oversaw the murder of an estimated 850,000 people, approximately 800,000 of which were Jews. During his rise up the ranks of the SS, Stangl was involved in the T4 Euthanasia program, an aggressive effort to cleanse the Germanic population of undesirable hereditary traits and diseases. Prior to his posting at Treblinka he was the Kommandant of the extermination camp at Sobibor for a short period of time. Stangl was the Kommandant of the Nazi extermination camp Treblinka from September 1942 until shortly after the camp was destroyed in a revolt, in the summer of 1943. In 1971, Gitta Sereny, a historian, successful journalist, and biographer interviewed Franz Stangl. ![]() If you want to keep all the apps that came pre-loaded in the launch bar but also want to add more just long-press any icon, drag it down to the launch bar, hover it over any app in the task bar and a folder will be created. To do that simply long-press and drag any icon in the launch bar up and replace it with any icon you want by long-pressing it and dragging it down to the empty spot in the task bar. Your input is appreciated.thank you.Ĭhanging the apps in the task bar is not the problem I was having. I would be very surprised if there is no way to accomplish this. I hope this clarifies what I'm trying to do and maybe it can't be done but it seems simple enough to me. On the other hand you can edit the launch bar when you have the app drawer set as your home screen but there does not seem to be a way to add back the shortcuts to the app drawer once you drag them down to the launch bar. The problem with this is that you cannot change the launch bar from this area and icons you add to the home screen only show up when BlinkFeed is your default home screen. Now you can add as many of the same icons as you want back to the home screen but only from the "customize home screen" page. I can create the folder in the launch bar easily by dragging down those shortcuts but once you put them in the launch bar they disappear from the app drawer. What I want to do is create a single folder next to the phone icon in the launch bar containing my app icons for messages, contacts and 2 gmail accounts BUT I also want those same icons to be displayed in my app drawer on the home screen and this is where I am having difficulty. Can one of you veterans help me out here? There must be a simple way to just create a duplicate icon that I am missing. If I change the home screen to BlinkFeed and go to "customize home screen" then I can add as many of the same icons to the screen as I want but when you press down and hold an icon to select it the launch bar disappears from the screen so you can't drag the icon down to create the folder. Now if I try to do this when I have the app tray as my home screen I can drag the icons I want down to the launch bar and create the folder but then it takes them away from the app tray and I cant figure out how to create a duplicate icon to place on the screen. Anyway what I want to do is create a folder in the launch bar consisting of the messages icon as well as contacts, gmail and stock email BUT I also want those icons displayed on the screen as well. The reason for the lake’s colorful water is down to haloarchaea, microorganisams that flourish in its salty waters – the vermillion shade is even more stunning at the end of the dry season, when the water level is especially low. The stunning red color is caused by haloarchaea, microorganisms which love salty water Image: imago/Bluegreen Pictures/J.-C. The water comes from mineral hot springs and a river, but the lake doesn't drain out to any sea or river – evaporation is how the shallow lake loses water, which can reach as high as 41 degrees Celsius (106 degrees Fahrenheit). The lake actually takes its name from the naturally-occurring blend of chemicals it contains. This raises the lake's alkalinity to far above water's normal neutral pH of 7. 12/31/2023 0 Comments Recessed lighting layout calculator![]() For ceilings taller than 16-feet, using LED lights with a narrow flood beam angle will get more of the light down from the ceiling to the surface plain. Most often you’ll be better off installing brighter lights rather than more lights. Tall ceilings allow the cones of light more distance to spread than low ceilings, so they provide plenty of coverage for the room. How Many Recessed Lights for Tall Ceilings?Ī common misconception is that tall ceilings need more lights, but that’s not usually the case. Luceco will not take responsibility for results on site that differ from the calculator. The estimation is based on industry standard lighting levels recommendations and assumes the spaces have typical surface reflectance's for the given application. Notice how the number of lights for each space was calculated separately. The Luceco Lighting calculator is designed to assist with the estimation of the total number of lights required to light a space. In the example below, you’ll see a typical open floor plan that combines a kitchen, dining nook, and family room. ![]() Then you can measure and calculate each space separately. If you have an open floor plan that combines several living areas, think of each area as a separate room by creating imaginary walls to define them. To determine how many recessed lights a room needs, you first need to define the space. If your home lacks overhead lighting, I can confidently say it’s one of the best improvements you can make to your home. It provides lighting for an entire room, and when combined with a dimmer switch, gives you full control of a room’s brightness at any time of the day or night. Recessed lighting is ideal for general lighting. Why is Recessed Lighting best for General Lighting? Windows and skylights may provide enough light when the sun is shining, but in the evening a room without light is useless except for sleeping. ![]() General lighting (aka Ambient Lighting) provides overall illumination for a room. You can use the same measurements to calculate where to place the lights on the ceiling when you’re ready.
